• “Excellent Ship and Wonderful Staff”

I will not hesitate to give it a 5 star excellent overall rating if not because of the uncomfortable transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay in a small van with baggage packed to the brim.

  • “Fantastic crew and boat”

Our cabin on the second floor was excellent with plenty of space, a good sized bathroom and shower and a small external deck fitted with table and chairs. More like being in a luxury hotel room.

“Life on the ocean waves”

If you do nothing else in Vietnam you must go on one of these overnight cruises to Ha long bay, we did on the Sea Life which is a modern luxury junk, the ogranisation at the dock is well run and easy to understand, your luggage is taken out by the baggage handerlers and placed in your cabin, so no problems with that, after you put on your life jacket you are then taken by tender boat out to the Sea Life and welcomed aboard by the staff who are banging on welcome drums, a brief introduction and instruction speech is given then you are handed you cabin keys and shown where to go.
Our cabin was large with a queen size bed, closet, table with mirrow and, safe so there was plenty of room, we had a good sized bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet, water was hot and strong, the cabin also had a private deck with table and chairs for kicking back while cruising.
We went down to the very large dining room for an 8 course lunch which was amazing, the food on board was out of this world, we had a cooking class to learn how to make spring rolls, the ships company put on a show for the guests, there were movies, night fishing, swimming, exploring of the islands and their caves, and Kyaking if you wanted, there was an on board massage for a price, and plenty of drinks, which are expensive and you pay for at the end of the cruise, the staff are very friendly and willing to help you in any way they can, it's a wonderful way to relax we can't wait to go again.
